Anyone out there have in their possession a K.R. Wilson Transmission Reaming Fixture ? I just picked up a real nice fixture that I intend to restore - I'm in search of the small clamping piece (right side - flat, oval piece) which holds the triple gears in place. Would like to beg, borrow or steal one to copy UNLESS someone has an "orphan" to part with !

Steve:
As one of the two holy grails, (to me), I would love to see some pics. I've seen a half dozen or so pan jigs up close but only one transmission fixture in person.

Will do !

This is the 3rd one I've seen - the second had one of the clamping ears busted off - P.O.S. and the guy thought it was "gold" !

I've got the set of KRW transmission tooling, but missing the same part you need.

I'll keep you in mind Jack if I can locate one to copy or get the critical dimension of one.

Steve: I can have them cast if you locate one.

Here's what I did yesterday - the original threaded pinch bolt & "L" holders were pretty pitted by my standards so I machined new parts yesterday - the wing nuts are available and I prefer those as they have a larger diameter seat area. The round bar will be end milled for the 5/8" square drive and will be counter bored to receive several sized reamers.
