Can someone please tell me how to remove the E & J Model 666 Headlight off the fork. Looks like it should just lift up but I can't get it to budge. I don't see a set screw or anything else holding it on.

Interesting. All these years and that I did not know about. I always like to learn something, every day. All the acetylene lamps I have fooled with had the set screws outside.

I have E and J Model lamps on my 14 and the set screws are on the outside. There are no numbers on the lamps. Different models?

I have a Jno. Brown chimney on a lamp with interior fork mounts. Think chimney is an after thought, farmers repair, as it's bolted on with more modern bolts.
At any rate, I have acquired one of these mounts if anyone can use it. Just pay postage from Canada. PM me an address and I'll get a cost.
