I'm really happy to have agreed to buy the 23 Tourer which was advertised on MFTCA classifieds. Part of the story, which is a brilliant idea and a truly generous act of charitable endeavour is at

I have run a couple of T's over the years, but always suffering the problems of advanced wear and tear - Yet, never having the bravery to do a proper rebuild, I've put up with some "old car" features that weren't present when new! The idea of getting a fully rebuilt car is almost overwhelmingly exciting.
I will have a spare rim and tyre for the car, but not a mounting kit. I would be grateful for advice on the best mounting kit to use, in keeping with the approx. dating of 1923. If anyone has one to sell, please let me know. I would get you to post the bits to the California Auto Museum, Sacramento, from where they will be shipped to the UK.
After that, I think my only big item on the shopping list will be a set of sidescreens. If I'm in luck, I may be interested in a tow-bar and/or period trailer, as I plan to use the car for camping trips. An offer of a basic tool-kit at a sensible price would also not go astray.
I will be shipping the car in about ten days time, I hope.
