I have a 26 roaster body with rust out in the quarter panels. I also have a pickup bed to use on it. I need to know if pickup quarter patch panels will connect up to the back panel of the roadster body?

Dennis, Roadster and pickup body patch panels are the same at the quarter panel. The difference is the pickup panel is longer going down the frame rail under the pickup bed. According to Bruce's book that is the way the production pickup would have come from the factory.

Dennis, I think general consensus is the early factory pickups also came with a flat seat back. My early roadster body has a flat back as opposed to the embossed back. Mine has the long tail and was commercial green on hidden spaces behind the dash and tank. There are no accurate records and invoice sheets I have seen over the years show many more cars with the bed installed at the dealer as opposed to factory built pu's. Just food for thought. MG
