Drove 70 miles in Nellie today. Stopped at the American Hotel in Lima, New York for lunch. Here is a cyanotype of the T in front of the hotel.
Mark
I haven't heard that name (cyanotype) since I worked at Kodak in Toronto
-Don
Invented in 1842 by Hershel and used for photograms then for printing from glass negatives .. and blue prints. Very common cheap way to proof negatives and used during the T era by amateur photographers.
Mark, special equipment needed to take these photos?
I had forgotten all about proof paper. I believe the stuff that was used when I was in high school was brown or sepia, not cyan. I always just used regular #3 paper.
