For those arriving early, the Washington Headquarters museum is close by.
Planning on going myself.

I will be there.

Looking forward to meeting other MTFCA members.
Too bad we don't have some type of name badge (as much as I don't like wearing them), so we can recognize each other.

Gene

Sounds like a lot of fun and a great drive in our 27 Touring.

Any interest in an ECCT coil test and adjusting demonstration? Many folks still don't know what they are missing in engine performance using coils adjusted for equal and consistent firing time. Good local opportunity to change that.

Had a great time at today's event introducing visitors to the central working of the Model T spark ignition system. Also had the opportunity to test and adjust coils for several attendees.

Here is Bob's photo, thanks Bob. Great day and lots of fun testing and adjusting coils. Waiting to hear engine performance test results from folks having their coils adjusted for equal firing time and consistency using the ECCT.

Great Day, great weather, great venue!
There were 30+ cars, almost all of them Ts of every vintage.
I attached a few photos, but spent too much time talking and did not photograph even half of the cars on display.
Bob, Did you get any shots of the early commercial roadsters or the beautiful speedster?

Gene

Mikes demonstration was great! It was so interesting. He gets very technical and sometimes its hard to follow. But it really added to the event, nice going Mike

Doug,

Nothing is too technical for you.
You're a mechanical wizard.

Thanks guys for the encouragement and support. Great to meet with you all at the event, it was a great day.

Just received great feedback from one group who took advantage of the coil test and adjustment demonstration. Thought their car sounded when it started but became immediately apparent their car had more power when they navigated the rolling hills on the way home. They were able to remain in high pedal most of the way home and pulled the familiar hill near home without any miss, spit or lurch which was notable improvement. It is reports like that which are very gratifying and keeps me doing what I do!

Gene: Nice pictures.... all I have to do now is to re-size to post. Did not see the speedsters, on arrival we walked the grass, up to the mansion, down to the creamery, animal barns then the other side of lined T's.
