Does anyone know where I can order Liquid Glass Polish?
I didn't see it on Lang's website, and all my Googling shows vendors who are out of stock and don't know when they'll have any.
The main phone number for Liquid Glass is no longer working.
I fear the worst...
I'll bet it's no longer being made.
It goes for big bucks on eBay - three active listings. Two have bids at $62. The other is a buy it now for $80.

Thank you, Erik.
If you think thats hard to find try finding Wizzards Glass Wax
With so many waxes and polishes on the market I wonder if its really worth the trouble. I use Griots brand waxes and polishes. Its seems to do very well for me.
A good regular glass cleaner and newspapers work really well. The newspapers will absorb the dirt and polish the glass. Learned that trick from a carnival worker who was cleaning glass. Will also work on chrome or nickel parts.
Bill, The paint on my 1911 is 25 years old.I have never put any polish or wax that has Silicone in it. I use Auto-Teck Slick Shine a couple times a year to polish it. The rest of the time, I use Auto-Teck WOW. It is a spray that does not turn white and is very easy to put on and wipe off. It can be put on,Glass, plastic windows and and all metal surfaces. It does a very good job.I am a dealer for it. PM me. Pete Ratledge
You can buy anything and everything online at a little place called Amazon.com...
Probably gone the way of the DoDo bird.Or worse, gone the way of Westley's Bleachwite, watered down worthless now for it's intended purpose.
Anybody know why it's so expensive? I remember this as a kid being a sort of low-end polish.
I can vouch for the Auto-Teck Slick shine and WOW. Use them on all my antique cars
.
I expect you'll find it in the same stores that sell Boraxo, Spry, Ipana, Sal Hepatica, Burma Shave, Fitch shampoo and Rinso.
A car polish still available as far as I know is Nu Finish, which I think is pretty good stuff.
Almost any wax/polish that is a wipe on/wipe off, "miracle" finish contains silicone. Be careful of what you use if you ever want to touch up the paint later! I love Mequire's No 7, as you can apply it, and as soon as it's dry, you can paint over it! (not that I would recommend that! )
Mothers makes some of the best car care products that's available today and is constantly working to improve them. One of their new products that the guys like a lot is the Waterless car wash spray.
Again this year they will be sponsoring the National Redwood Trees to Pacific Seas Tour with several 5 gallon buckets of products and also goodie bags full of assorted samples for everyone! I'll be picking up the cases and stuffing the bags this coming week.
Please support the vendors that donate items to our car events by trying out some of their products when you go to the stores.
Gene,
I ask Mother and she said she never made car polish but does make an fantastic chocolate cake!
Hee hee Good One!
Hey, that might work pretty good for brass polish as well. I sure miss my Mothers sour cream cookies..
David, Auto-Teck Slick shine and WOW do not have silicone's in them. They go on easy and come off easy. The paint on my car can be touched up any time. The paint on my car is 25 years old.I touch up the paint every year before Hershey. I am on my 7th set of tires. I drive the car.
