Hi,
Looking for some information about Dayton wire wheels. 30 x 3 1/2.
Availability of front hub / wheel locating studs/lugs.
Also on the outer internal part of the hub has what looks like a flat strip of flat steel with square cut outs all the way around, almost looks like a bearing outer case without the rollers.
Would this be some sort of part that locks the hub nut from coming undone.
Would anybody have anymore details about these wheels.
Thanks for any help.
Michael.
This is Houk wire wheel but the design is the same as Dayton. It is part of the latch system that keeps a loose hubcap from unthreading. See upper right.
I make Dayton front and rear hubs, hubcaps, wrench, and name badges. What do you need to know?
Thank you Layden and Jack, I sent you a private massage Jack.
