That pooch is riding in style!

Not only does he have his own tight fittin' top, hes enjoying the scenery from the running board of a 1917-1918 Cadillac model 57, seven passenger touring car, the same model favoured by the upper echelons of the U.S. Army A.E.F. general Staff in WWI!

The cowl vent and the 12 spoke front wheels were added in the 1920/21 Cadillac models and for 1922 all models got outside door handles, so it was a rather new Cadillac.
Thanks Dale and Charley

I think this pooch is happier-- he gets to ride in the main cab, and it's a T!

My dad told me that in the 1930's his dad had a '28 Buick Master. They'd use it to go hunting. The dog rode in a wire crate fastened to the running board. :-)
