Haven't seen any 'dealer prep' charges on dealer T invoices. Today you are charged all sorts of things.

Back in the day, only taxes, and of course the dealer added cost of gas and oil, as that wasn't supplied from the branch assembly source. Now this T got lots of 'extras' added by the dealer!




Some dealers also passed along the Ford Nat'l adv. expense, a standard practice of Ford dealers.
May seem silly today, but Ford sold the T at rock bottom list price, with a fixed cost to dealers, and kept dealers from undercutting that already low 'factory price' throughout the country.
