At-ti-ca! At-ti-ca!

I know of Attica, N.Y., and there's a tiny village named Attica in Michigan near Lapeer.

The children's radio show of the 1940's "Terry and the Pirates" had the group always visiting their Aunt Attica. Their Uncle Cy was never up to greet them and was not ever very well. It was a running gag and I knew that even when I was 12 years old that his name was Cy-attica and that was why he never got out of bed to visit with them because of the pain. Also there was and perhaps still is a prison named Attica.
