The Parts and Price List books, Aug 1926 and Dec 1926 say for the Wire Wheel socket wrench to order 5Z-161. That socket wrench is for the body bolt nuts, front and center.

There is also Part No. T-2891, Wire Wheel Socket Wrench, '26-'27, Factory No. 2839 that is best, found in the later Parts Books, as its a bit shorter shaft length.

Marking of the shorter T-2891, with Factory # T-2839

Great info! THANKS! Would they have been provided in the new car tool kit, or a separate wrench that was provided?

Would believe Ford packed the wrench with the tools, in the closed cars that got wire wheels and balloon tires as standard equipment.

Open cars wires were optional by the dealer, so perhaps on delivery to the owner, the dealer saw to it the owner got a wrench :-)

That said, the T-handle Fac. No. T-2839 wrench won't fit in the '26-'27 tool bag!

But does go under the rear seat of the touring just in case.....
