Last night on the local news there was a ad for a fire engine show in Frankenmuth,Mi.I saw at least i Model T engine and they said maybe 30 engines pumping!! I do not know if it is both days this weekend or just one.If someone knows more, please post it.Bud in Wheeler,Mi.
This is the weekend, it’s a annual event by the local SPAAMFAA (Society for Preservation and Appreciation of Antique Fire Apparatus in America) Chapter, the Great Lakes International chapter. This year I believe they are show casing the fire trucks built on the Model T chassis. This should be a good size gathering of all types of early Fire Apparatus, especially some early T’s. I was on my way there but was held back in Pennsylvania with some transmission problems (catastrophic failure)☹️-Craig

If you like fire engines, this is the place to be. It's a great meet with a parade and lots of fire engines pumping from the river.
Mr. Golden, are you a glifafaa member? I really, and I mean REALLY need some advice on my Brockway ALF pump.
Thanks.
My favorite fire-fighting vehicle:

This was my favorite fire chief's car.
I sold it in 2000 to retired fire chief Dick Ricter, in Sanford,Maine and no one has ever seen it since then.
It was made by Obenchain-Boyer in Logansport, Indiana, in late May 1927.
