The Rocky Mtn. brake rods hit the rear truss rod. The rear rod is shorter than the front rod. The catalogs show 3 separate sets so I have some questions:
1. Are they all the same diameter?
2. Which rods are longer?
3. Is the stepped rod the front or rear?
Thanks, Steve

You can make your own and bend them the way you want. Round steel rod is probably the best. Mine are made out of 1/2 inch re-bar! Someone else did that. You just have to thread the ends.

The stepped rod is the rear rod.

I have genuine Rocky Mountain Brakes on all my T's, and the brake mechanism doesn't hit.
