Put the wrong link in my last post. How do I edit or delete the entire post?
There's a time limit to editing a post so the sooner the better. Just click on your profile and when the window opens, click on the "user profile" icon and then you should be able to figure it out from there.
You can edit if you do it right away, but you can't delete. What you can do is edit by replacing all the copy with a single space. Your name, the date, and the time will still be there, but the "edited" copy will be gone. You can also edit to a completely different message.
Click User Profile at the top of the page. Log in. Click the yellow pencil next to the message you want to edit. Log in again. Edit. Click Save Message. If there's no yellow pencil it's too late.
I donít see an option for my messages
Click User Profile at the top of the page. You should get this. Log in.
That gets you here. Click on the yellow pencil.
If there is no yellow pencil, give up. You're too late.
Clicking the yellow pencil gets you here.
Log in again by clicking Edit Post.
That should get you here.
Edit your message in the box, preview it if you want, and click Save Message. Done.

By time there is a new post it's too late to edit and I have never been able to remove a posting only edit no matter what the wording says.
I don't get any "your most recent posts"....???
Thanks Steve, a useful summary of what to do.
Like Michael, I do not see any 'recent posts' in my profile and I do not have the edit option appear either.
You wull have to put up wit my bad spelling a little longa .. ;-)
I think the closest you can come to deleting a post is to go to Edit and empty the box so it says nothing except the "Message edited by..." part.
There is a time limit to edit a post also if someone has posted after you in the same posting, you can no longer edit your post. So the No 2 pencil image will no longer be there.
>>>I donít see an option for my messages<<<
You have 5 minutes to delete a post. 30 minutes to edit. Probably can't delete a thread. But maybe if no one has responded. Click on the icon of a trash can in the "Del" column.

This set up keeps angry folks from calling another member a mother****** and then changing it later on when they realize their mistake. Also keeps folks from posting a incorrect fact and then saving their rep by changing it later on as if the original statement never existed.
You can edit the text in a post, but as far as I know you can't edit the post title.
Also, if you try to add a link in the post via editing, it doesn't come through as a link, just plain text.
So I tried to edit a recent double post of mine and after I logged in I did not see the heading EDIT POST. I guess I was too late but I did go directly and log in. Possibly after I entered my name and password I hit the Log In and didn't see the Edit Post button?
Ill try next time but my computer doesn't let me double post but I added a word to the first post. Short Memory I guess
Thanks Steve for the help you posted. I opened that up in a separate window so I could follow step by step.
