Some time back I picked up an old ratchet and some sockets at a flea market for 2 or 3 dollars.
I have since learned that there is an important part missing. There should be a gear with the hex drive hole in it to catch the teeth on the ratchet. I think I will try to make it. The patent date is Jan 14, 08.
