For some reason the inner bearing area on my six rivet axle housings has two holes for the bearing sleeve button to go into; which one is correct, or does it matter? They are directly opposite to each other inside the tube. Has anyone else with a six rivet housing noticed the same thing? All the other housings I've ever dealt with have had only one hole. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe it was converted from a left housing to a right one.

Tim, both housings have the double holes.

Seems to me as I recall, the early sleeves had the dimple in a different place. Maybe they could not locate the early sleeves and and added the hole for the later type.
