I was given a lead on two engines that had been sitting under a shed for about 40 years. The conditions are completely unknown and they don't turn over. One is a non-starter 1916 and the other a later model. I really don't need them but was wondering if they had any value much beyond scrap. Any opinions? I am going to look at them later today and may make an offer.

Condition is very important (stuck isn't a good thing, but does not by itself make them bad). How complete? Vintage of parts included (especially on the '16)? All affect value. Could be worth fifty dollars apiece? Could be twice that. The '16 could be worth three to four hundred by itself depending on what is there.

Thanks, Wayne. I will get to see them and then go from there. I have a friend with a '16 and he may be interested.
