"This 1913 Ford Model T touring car was one of the first cars sold by Canadas oldest Ford dealership Watkin Motors in Vernon."
1958 (?) Edsel behind the '13 T.
Now this isn't making any sense to me, one of the first cars sold in 1913 by this Ford dealership. so questions would be,
Ford was established in 1904 in Canada so, no retail dealerships until 1913??
Or if this was the oldest dealership left by 1958, did all the others that sold the worlds top selling car folded by them leaving this to be the oldest still trading??
Or should it read the oldest dealership that is still family owned??
I assume it would be the oldest still open, and they still do sell Fords to this day. Don’t forget there were two world wars and a depression to survive since the place opened...
