Now. That's a picture We can all appreciate.
You Need to post that behind Your parts counter for all to see.

Do you remember the feelings of "Patriotism" which swept the Country back then? There's a need for a bit of that today...

I had previously been at our company HQ located one floor below in the south tower. 'Five of ours' were lost, and we have to remember the others.

Memories fade way too quickly.

I visited the flight 93 memorial this Summer and I couldn't believe the things that I had forgotten about the events of that day. People come from all over the world to see that memorial and more come each year. If you haven't seen it make it a priority to visit.

I remembered it yesterday but with the approaching hurricane on the news and everyday stuff,I forgot about it this morning.
sad that I would forget such a tragic event so easily.

9-11 was our 25th Anniversary. Kinda hard now for me to ever forget our anniversary. It's also my Nephew's Birthday; think he was 14 at the time.
It is amazing how quickly we forget.

So, its 'the next day', and we're all moving on. We're patriotic. Nike has a new ad. We're 'politically correct'. We read Mark O.'s "thug" thread and we all just continue on our merry way.
Three kinds of people today: Those that 'make things happen'; Those that 'watch things happen'; and then, Those who 'Wonder WHAT-THE-HELL happened'???? My Bride has a grandson born 17 years ago yesterday... The continuing question - "What kind of a world did we bring him into?" The answer has to be found in ourselves...
"Make A Difference Day" needs to be recognized as "Every Day."

"Happy T-ing!"

This is my son at a 9-11 memorial service yesterday. Former Marine. Current Police Officer.

While not worrying about being 'politically correct', a Salute to the Salutee, too. And, he's not kneeling, either! Congrats, Hal!

"Happy T-ing!"

Hal,

Please thank your son for me for his service to our great country but I must add that he is not a former Marine because once a Marine always a Marine.

Please tell him that I have the upmost respect for police officers and I appreciate what he does.

Daren, were you there or just making a political statement?
