Columbus, MT was chosen as the host city for the 2019 Montana 500 at the annual fall meeting.
The week of June 16th was chosen as the date. The Montana 500 is traditionally held during third week of June.
There were no significant rule changes from last year (just a couple of clarifications).
Great choice!
Tom, Thanks for posting. Columbus a town of not much more than 2,000 people on the Yellowstone river should be a fun place for the venue.
Hopefully we'll receive info about the clarifications from the meeting in our email.
The three changes that I can remember are:
1. Only 1/2" NPT non-adapted spark plugs allowed.
2. Rush type timer rollers allowed.
3. No radial tires allowed.
That is not verbatim, but that is the general idea of the rule clarifications.
