What are you guys using for the float in the 1912 Holley? The one in the carb I am working on has shrunk up quite a bit so dimensions would be helpful if I have to make one. Inside, outside diameter and thickness. The profile I can come up with.

Hello Mark: 20 years ago I made a new float for the Holley H1 on my '12 Touring, from a "Float slug" of a suitable modern plastic foam material that has done an excellent job. It is easy to machine in a lathe, and still available in Snyder's catalog item T-6201-B @ $27.00. If I remember correctly, the slug is big enough to make three floats! Good luck, Tom

Mark,I've been using cork stoppers that I got from Widgetco, inc. works out fine for me.

Just looked at their site, that sure might beat $27 plus shipping for the man made material. Then end up with a piece that sits on the shelf left over from one job. Thank you again.
