Hello to All,
Just wanted to say a big thank you to Jim Patrick for sending me the Devcon Epoxy & great instructions to fix the crack in the hog head. I finally got around to working on that yesterday.
Does anyone know how long it takes for Devcon to set up completely?
I am looking forward to running the car & see if my job was successful!

Thank you again to Jim and to all of you who wrote on the forum to help me.
I am including some pictures of the process.
Thank you! Levi

I can't answer your cure time question, but I am curious if you stop drilled the end of the crack? If not, I would do that before installing it. A crack will continue to propagate if you don't drill a hole at the end of it. It doesn't have to be large. Probably 1/8" or maybe 3/16" would be fine. You're just looking to remove the stress concentration. Drill it and epoxy it with the same epoxy.

Glad to help, Levi. I assume I sent you enough. Nice job. Did you smooth it up with a wetted finger? Looks like you got it stressed out nicely. When it fully cures, you can sand the surface with 120 grit sandpaper and paint it with a black paint of your choice, but not before testing it for several days to ensure the Devcon repair was a success. According to the instruction, it takes 16 hours to fully cure, but It gets rock hard in 8, but I still wait the full 16 hours before using. Jim Patrick

If that don't like that, they really wouldn't like my car.
