What is the correct length of the bolts that hold the engine block to the pan? 3/8 x 1 1/4 s.a.e. (fine thread)?

Forgot to mention the reason I'm asking......I put all bolts and fasteners in labeled containers, then a friend came over to help straighten up the shop. Haven't seen them since..........:-(

Got it! It finally occurred to me to do a forum search and I found my answer. Also discovered that cotter pins are not really necessary...ordinary lock washers will do the job.

Lock washers are fine on a driver and were in use later on T engines anyway.
