I am planning to order a new interior kit. Is there any difference between the 1925 and 1926 coupe, like window and door size? Thanks, John
Is your car a 25 or 26 Coupe. The 26 improved car bodies were pretty much all steel. The 25 Coupe was mostly wood but the doors were steel on most. Some might have wood framed doors.
I would order a Interior kit that is specific for your car.
If you order the kit you will need to specify if your your car has wood framed or metal framed doors if it's a 25.
Are you asking about a 24-25 coupe or a 26-27 coupe built in late 1925?
John: If you Google 'mtfca don booth 1926 coupe', or very similar words you will see many pics Don posted here of several 26 coupe restorations he did. That will give you some good info. If body, frame and engine are original the engine # should answer Mark's question. Good luck, jb
John F, To the basic question of whether the '25 and '26 coupes are different? Other than a basic overall shape (hood in front, trunk in back)? EVERYTHING is different! Trying to use one kit instead of the right one? Better to get a few yards of appropriate material and start from scratch. Doors are different sizes and dimensions. Seat is made in a completely different design. Headliner and around all the windows are different dimensions.
Whatever year model coupe you have? Buy the correct kit.
