The car had not run in many years but the engine internals look good, I had the coils rebuilt by Ron Patterson, set the timing to fire just a few degrees past TDC on #1 and have good spark and rebuilt the carb. However I was wondering currently I'm using a lawn and garden battery for 12V ignition as I'm unsure about the magneto is a small battery like that adequate for enough spark? I pulled the car today with the spark on fresh gas etc to no avail. I primed all the cylinders, car has fair compression but it wouldnt even fire. Anyone have any ideas? I'd love to get the car running. Thanks! Mike

Professionally rebuilt including; cylinders bored to .030” over with new aluminum pistons, new Babbitt and line bored to match crank specs. Starter and Generator included both reviewed and confirmed to be working properly, carburetor restored and rebuilt. Transmission has new Jack Rabbit clutch set and bands were relined with Kevlar linings. Magneto has been recharged and is putting out 15 volts at idle and over 30 volts AC at speed, motor will start on the magneto. Coils are all rebuilt using new KW points along with new/proper capacitors; coils adjusted on Hand Cranked Coil Tester (HCCT). Modern oil seal on crank and all new gaskets throughout motor, the motor is virtually ‘oil leak’ free. New paint job. Motor is in test stand and can be monitored running. Test stand has a full set of gages and all features of the motor can be demonstrated. Motor can be seen and heard on our web site. The reason I am selling this is that the backing plate end of the housing was changed to a big drum at some time and brazed on. It has worked and will work fine but cosmetically I cant' use it for a rebuild to sell(plus I have 7 or 8 others). Included: Housing, interior parts with good bronze & steel thrust plates, good bearing, internal differential carrier with good pins and gears, clutch gear, ring gear bolt set, most bolts, etc. needed for assembly. Parts are beadblasted. Rebuilt shift lock included. Use your right side housing, axles, ring and pinion, etc. This is basically the same kit Ruckstell sold and that is sold by the vendors today for $2200-2400. This one is $1375 plus $50 shipping in the US. That gives you $1000 margin if it does need some small parts or a little machine work. They are not too hard to put together and if you have already rebuilt your differential this is an economical way to save what you have already invested in sleeves, ring and pinion, etc., and combine it with this to get a good Ruckstell. I can send a picture or two if you want. Why pay $1200 to buy a pig in a poke off ebay and not know what you have to work with? Satisfaction guaranteed. Professionally rebuilt including; cylinders bored to .030” over with new aluminum pistons, new Babbitt and line bored to match crank specs. Both valves and lifters have new guides installed. Starter and Generator included both reviewed and confirmed to be working properly, carburetor restored and rebuilt. Transmission has new Jack Rabbit clutch set and bands were relined with Kevlar linings. Magneto has been recharged and is putting out 15 volts at idle and over 30 volts AC at speed, motor will start on the magneto. Coils are all rebuilt using new KW points along with new and proper
capacitors; coils adjusted on Hand Cranked Coil Tester (HCCT). Modern oil seal on crank and all new gaskets throughout motor, the motor is virtually ‘oil leak’
free. New paint job.
Motor is in test stand and can be monitored running. Test stand has a full set of gages and all features of the motor can be demonstrated.
