Model T Museum Now Open!

We are excited to be reopened and welcoming visitors back to the Museum!

The Museum will be open Tuesdays through Sundays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.  It is recommended that you check back on this website or call 765-488-0026 before your visit to see if those days and hours have changed.

We have made efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We are following CDC, state, and local health guidelines for the health and well-being of our visitors, volunteers, and staff.

How are you feeling?
If you are experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms (cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, or any two of these symptoms: fever, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat or new loss of sense of smell or taste) or have had contact with a person with COVID-19, we respectfully ask that you delay your visit.

Masks are recommended (but not required). A disposable mask can be purchased at Museum for $1.00.

Social Distancing (at least 6 feet, to be exact)
Be sure everyone in your party gives anyone else in the Museum at least 6 feet of space. Follow the signs and markings on the floor.

Visitor Numbers Limited at One Time
The number of individuals allowed inside each building at one time will be limited. Staff members will ask you to remain outdoors or in your car if the maximum number is reached. It would be a good idea to phone ahead (765-488-0026) if you know the day and time of your visit and we can plan accordingly.

Group Tours
Groups of 6 or more must be scheduled in advance. Please phone 765-488-0026 at least one week in advance to discuss.

Hand washing and sterilization

Hand-sterilization stations have been placed throughout the Museum, and handwashing reminders have been posted in all restrooms.

Shaking hands

While old habits are hard to break, our staff won’t be shaking hands. Please don’t take it as a sign of not being friendly but we will follow guidelines for non-contact methods of greeting. A return to hat tipping would be nice!

Children are welcome!

Children must remain with an adult at all times and MUST follow the requirement to not touch any vehicle, exhibit, or item without permission from Museum staff.

Please read the following CDC recommended statement for all Visitors, Staff, and Volunteers

I confirm that in the last 14 days…

  • I have not had prolonged (more than 15 minutes) close contact (within 6 feet) with anyone diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19 for the period beginning 48 hours prior to the onset of their symptoms through the date the person was released from home isolation.
  • I have not had direct contact with the bodily secretions of anyone diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19 (e.g., being coughed on, touching used tissues with a bare hand, sharing food or drink) for the period beginning 48 hours prior to the onset of their symptoms through the date the person was released from home isolation.
  • I have not traveled from a country or location with widespread ongoing transmission or traveled on a cruise ship or river boat, or engaged in out of state travel that would require me to self-quarantine upon return to the state under applicable state or local order.
