Kingston models L and  L2

The Kingston models L and  L2 carburetors. The model on the left is the model “L” used in 1915 and 1916. The model L2 on the right was used on some 1917 Fords. The arrow shows the location of the air bleed hole. The L2 was similar to the model L except for the location of the float valve, now in the main body instead of in the bowl. The model L had a bronze bowl while the L2 had a steel bowl.
