Recently purchased 1915 Kuempel-bodied speedster. This car was built by t Francis A. Mesker of St. Louis in the early 1920’s using a body kit by the Kuempel Hardware Company in Iowa. It was kept in the Mesker family till the 1980’s when it was donated to the St. Louis Museum of Transportation who sold the car to a St. Louis collector in 2005
The car has had many period modifications including the original Kuempel body, self-steering spindles, underslung front and rear ends, and House wire wheels. it is powered by its original and stock 1915 motor.
