Ben Nevis is the highest peak in the British isles, located in the Scottish Highlands (just typing that I can hear the bagpipes!). The reason the car looks the way it does, no fenders an such, is that there were NO roads going up the mountain. With its treacherous surrounding area, the car was disassembled, and carried (by oxcart and by hand) part way up the lower area of the foothills. There, it was assembled (less items deemed not necessary to be hand carried), then driven the rest of the way up the mountain.
