here are a few pictures of questioned head, as you can see the valve cover says Frontenac, which fits the head perfect, the exhaust manifold says Roof 8, and fits the head perfect, but the head is supposedly a Rajo, so what is the correct item manufacture. I really need a rocker arm for this engine ...

well the outside handle option is not going to be a good one. We have the valance panels that are about 8 inch's tall, causing them to hang down about 5 inch's below the frame. Now if we drill a hole in them , than maybe they would work. I will have to talk with the owner and find out his preference...

o.k. thanks for all of the reply's. I have found that the head is not a reeder (at least it does not say reeder inside ) but does have the same type of hole in it. if you do change the rotation of the armature you also have to change the points out with the correct set, for that rotation. they made the points in both c.w. and c.c.w. rotation.

well the serial number on the block and stamped in the frame are the same. this car completely original down to the top and upholstery. I just added a starter to my 17 touring and now need ideas of where to mount the choke rod inside of the body. I do not have a dash like the newer cars have. a good explanation and pictures would be great. thanks in advance

yes I have... we have 5 different cars with that mag and no impulse. 1912 Case, 1913 Case, 1911 Franklin and a '06 Franklin. I have also worked on a few early Buicks that are the same setup.

I seem to not be able to reply to a car for sale ad. unlike all the other forum topics..i.e. parts for sale, down at the bottom is a reply button. I do not see that feature on the cars for sale. what am I missing? I don't want to look stupid but maybe I am.

brasscarguy just bought a new house and buildings and has spent about 5 months getting it all set up with the new shop. I should know, I am his nephew and have been by his side doing some of the work. He will be back on here at some point, but for now he is,as they say, up to his A&& in work.
