Re: Randall Anderson
There are no words to adequately express my sorrow. Only recently, Randall went to great lengths to provide me with a set of re-built coils for my '09. He was indeed a true gentleman, who will be sadly missed by everyone whoever crossed hi path. He clearly enjoyed being of assistance to his fellow m...

Re: Was RV Anderson doing work for any of you?
I was very sorry to hear this sad news. It was only recently that "R.V." provided me with a set of re-conditioned original coils
for my '09. He was very obliging, and easy to deal with. He was indeed a gentleman.

Re: Stan Howe, & Kinston 5 ball restoration
When I purchased my 1909 touring, I was somewhat disappointed to see that it's 5-ball carburettor, and 2-piece timer had both been replaced by much later ones, dating from the mid-1920's. I was delighted however, when next day I found both missing items stowed carefully under the back seat. I called...

I think that you'll find that the larger 3-tier E & J flared-front side lamps were standard fittings on 30h.p. EMF automobiles.

Re: Height of Rands or Metzger Windshield
On the inside front-cover of the Jan/Feb 2020 issue of the Horseless Carriage Gazette there is a reprint in full-colour and in full-size, of an original advertisement, which extols the finer points of "Mezger" windscreens. It clearly shows how the hinge and support mechanism of these screens functio...

The upper (folding) part of which, measures 41 1/4 inches in width, and 11 inches in height, The lower (non-folding) section measures 41 1/4 inches in width, and 16 3/4 inches in height. Re: E&J 366 Headlights on Early 1909s?
According to the build sheet for my '09, it was supplied with "E & J" side-lamps, but without headlamps. However, I have an original photograph of my car, which clearly shows it fitted with an ornate pair of French-made "Ducellier" headlamps. My car was sold (when new) by "Davies & Fehon", in Sydney...

Re: ID this Old Photo of an early touring car
I think it's more likely to be 1910 because the position of the door handle looks to be a little too high to be 1909, and also, it has a "Rands" windshield. IF it was 1909 wouldn't it be more likely to have a "Metzger Automatic" windshield ?

WTB "Metxger Automatic" tag
I've recently fitted a "Metzger Automatic" windshield to my 1909 touring. My screen's "Metzger Automatic" tag is missing, and I'd like to buy one. Langs list them in their catalogue, however they are out of stock. Does anybody know where I'd be able to buy one of these tags ?

Last January, I purchased a "water-pump" engined model T touring (Car number 2436), and in the four months I've owned the car, I estimate that I've driven it about five hundred miles. During this time, the pump has not leaked, nor has it required adjustment. I hope it continues to give excellent rel...

The lamps on this car appear to be 1913 or 1914, however the front fenders certainly are not. They have a "peak" in front, indicating that they may be 1912, or 1915 - or am I wrong ?
