Re: I texted a friend asking "How was Chickasha today?"....

I sold over 3K day one, guys across the aisle slightly more. Most everyone one said they were doing better than the past few years. I also bought items, o...

8 am for vendors I believe, 10 am to the public and I guess closing is when most folks have covered their items and headed to the feed trough.

Depending what decade the reproductions were made and the company that reproduced them. Some of the reproductions have smaller vent holes in the bonnet some only have 4 or five round holes, the round holes may not have a raised shoulder like the original later round hole lights. The brass oval tag i...

He could be bringing McKinley’s, Cleveland’s, Madison’s but not Chase’s. I believe bringing a Wilson would be way over the top & just showing off.
I believe Hamilton & Chase are the only Sec. of Treasury on bills & Franklin was an inventor & First Postmaster General

They are unique compared to the Brown & Corcoran. Attached you will find 4 pictures Brown, E&J, Corcoran & Victor. There are 4 variations of the Victor black & Brass, the one pictured here is the second variation.

Re: Carb Identification

Holley H1, good carb once rebuilt (I suggest Corey Walker). You are missing a very expensive piece and that’s the fuel line pipe that forms the elbow at the male fitting on the bowl. Repairing those bowls,if you can, is a nightmare. Best John

Re: Official javelin catcher thread, voltage regulator

Well Allen & Richard very critical eyes. If you note the original post is from 2023 over a year ago and previous to Jeff producing the regulator for sale. Sort of a “ fire, ready, aim” approach, well played. I am a very big advocate of Jeff’s Voltage regulator & followed the build thread they were i...

Re: Convert the Ruckstell housing

Dan gave some good advice however if memory serves me correct, cutting the large drum donor tube right at the junction of the tube to the pumpkin/differential case, you’ll have the correct length to insert into the Ruckstell housing. Don’t try to drill the holes right away rather mock the rear axle ...

Re: Texas auction end in two days

Look at lot 588 & 596. Bob built these and they work great. 588 if you take a close look you’ll know what it is and you won’t spend 2k on it. The centerline & peg holes were off the blueprints. He added that back piece to help in alignment. It works well. No you’re not going to do 500 alignments but...

Re: Late 1911-1912 Rear Axle Housings $1750 Including Free Shipping in the lower 48

If it matters, very late 1911, definitely 1912. It appears that one backing plate with ribs(note the brake shoe side) has replaced the original style like the other pictured I believe. Like an early 09/10 or 11. Perhaps a 1915 style backing plate?

Re: Pan Straightening Jig for sale on Facebook Marketplace in Ohio

Jim take your time with it, you soon have all kind of help and new friends once restored. In the process when you start to inspect it, you’ll need some help but turn it over and inspect the cast webbing for cracks and runs from the crack. Those will need to be repaired before your start using it. If...

Jim be sure you have it Blanchard ground once you get everything off. You’ll want it nice a level on the table. Great deal. You’re about $1300 ahead of the game. I believe Adam makes several pieces you’ll need to complete it.
