FS: Double Wishbone

For your early, above axle car.

How about $75 plus postage. This item will NOT fit in a flat rate box.

FS Roller Timer with 26/7 harness

Gently used, with roller.

How about thirty bucks plus postage? It will fit in a small flat rate box.

Low speed notch

I need to replace my low speed notch and pedal support.
I have to remove the hogs head from the car, right?
There doesn't seem to be enough room to get the hogs head out.
Do I have to lift the body off my Improved Roadster to replace the notch?

Re: What Have You Done To The "T"- April Edition

I got this far today and ran it conservatively. The clutch slips a little when I pull the throttle last 4 oclock.
I adjusted the clutch fingers and will take another trip after re-torquing in the morning.

Rod Jensen Aluminum 6:1 head

It seems to require a special head gasket, maybe for bigger valves. Does anyone know of a source for these gaskets?

As always, thanks!

Re: Freeze Crack Repair

Well, after several attempts I have achieved limited success. I used Permatex #2 on chevron-shaped crack in the top of the valve chamber between 2 and 3. It had been previously coated with marine-tex from inside the valve chamber. I went in through the oval hole in the deck surface, first with evapo...

I thought I could see all the cracks... Dang. Strike one. I located and sealed 4 cracks. Some had been brazed up, some puttied. I had to use a composite head gasket to put the new (good) head on. When I re-torqued it this morning; more water in the valve chamber!! It's a durn shame too; hardened seats, stainless valves, adjustable l...

Freeze Crack Repair

I found some water in my lifter galley, and an old repair in the water jacket between 2 & 3. The repair is oil-colored and lifting around the edges. I can't tell if its JB Weld or Marine Tex. One of the freeze plugs is covered in white epoxy; pretty sure that's Marine tex. it will be impossible to g...
