Re: Steve Jelf has moved and would appreciate a call

Glad to see you're doing ok, Steve. You took us for a wild ride after that wreck. It's a blessing you're still around. I wish I was closer so I could swing by and take you for a ride!

Oh my gosh, I probably turned white as a ghost when I read this! Thanks for the info, I never thought about that. Looks like I'm good to go, right?

You will only have to remove the front oil inlet and replace it with a bolt, then replace the magneto terminal with a stock "non-oiler" type.

How to remove outside oil line

I have a 27 chassis with rebuilt engine and transmission. The entire car will be stock and is turning out a lot nicer than I anticipated, so I'd like to show it for a while before driving the wheels off it. This project was started 14 years ago and I'm bound and determined to have the car at Hershey...

WANTED: 23-25 Roadster sheet metal

Looking for roadster body sheet metal. High hood 23-25. Years ago, "Uncle" Jack Daron built me a wood body kit for my roadster project and it's been assembled and sitting in the garage for 10 years waiting for me to add my sheet metal to. Unfortunately I picked up Canadian sheet metal which obviousl...

Re: Infrared Laser Thermometer

I completely agree. I run heavy equipment now and keep one in my dinner bucket. It's shown me hot pins, cylinders, tires, brakes, etc at work. The mechanic is very appreciative when you help him diagnose problems before he even gets to the breakdown! At home you can check tires, hoses, brakes (I had...

What are the chances of having a ufo AND pirate treasure in the same photo?

Re: gotta get my top on!

Have fun, and I mean that sarcastically. Not in a mean way, but I would rather pound my pinky toe flat with a hammer than do that again. Dad and I always worked well together but on that day it got ugly.

WTB coil tester

I've never had a coil tester, but with all the T's and parts that are here I feel like I should get one. What's out there? I'm in Western PA.

Thanks,
