Oil seeping through a loose rivet can be difficult to see when it runs down a black pan. Someone posted how to use a powder to apply to the area that would easily highlight the path of the leak and determine the source.

I've tried talc powder or white flour to find the source of a leak.

Re: Pulling a Model T

Bruce, To add more to the Pot You did not say or give us any info about what kind of options might be on this T you are asking about. This is important since there can be many options and modifications to a T. The late RDR Ralph Ricks advocated towing his early speedster/Picup on all 4 wheels with a...

David, Do you have TWO of the L irons?

I was told by Larry Smith that the L irons on my Torpedo are two long. They measure 9" from the top of the threads to the center line of the L. If your are shorter and you need these longer ones please let me know!

Thanks Kirk, I remember Fort Benton when I raced there in 2013. Some beautiful country right there on the Missouri River.

Sorry you had that delay with the starter bendix but you did a great finish! I prefer to use the hand crank only.. LOL

Out of the 17 cars only 2 failed to finish and a third opted to withdraw after driving 386 miles. Information I heard about the bre...

I just used a single bead of Ultra Black on my early alum HH and have not had any leaks. Many of the ears on the alum HH's are found broken so I was concerned about the thickness of any felts. Of course a felt is designed like a wick unless it is somehow sealed.
