I would take the shifter out of the rear end and shift it with a screwdriver or something similar. You may find the problem. The fork on the shifter may have come loose and not shifting it far enough. You may find something not so easy . Good luck!

That is excessive, the way the model t valves are adjusted in the manual will leave the valves with many different clearances. I use the more modern way and actually adjust them to a clearance. .010 to .015 is good to strive for. Sounds like you need a longer valve unless it has adjustable lifters.

Re: Ruckstell linkage

Tom, I agree with both John and Jim. I also want to add the straighter that you can make it the easier it will be to shift. It will be less springy, the mid support will also help. Re: Something fishy here . . .

Haggerman museum has several photos of monstrous sturgeon fish. My question is how old are they. I remember a story about a turtle hunter changing his ways after he found arrow heads and black powder rifle balls embedded in one of the turtles.

Donnie, Can you put me in touch with whoever has all the brass headlamps? It looks like he could fill in a few gaps for me.

20210326_202827.jpg size][/image [image] It is an early spool and it looks to be on a later axle housing and like said grinding off the lip makes that possible. Looking at your photo it looks off centered but it must be the casting that was larger on the driver's side making it look off centered. T...

Re: Inguinal hernia

Jim, just had mine fixed, It sure sounds like you have a hernia. Go to a hernia doctor and get it checked! Mine was done roboticly. ( Laparoscopy) Three small incisions, 4" each side of belly button an one in belly button. Easy fix, no pain, wake up fixed. Your symptoms are exactly the same as mine ...

Loved the video, Dad's wife has dementia or something, he has been dealing with it for 5 years now. She is combative and her vocabulary is short and loud! Dad is 8 years older and has been able to handle her well. We help where we can. She has never liked any of us kids but is nicer to us now that s...

Excellent! Congratulations to Darin and all the other founding members who did this. The website is impressive, especially when you consider that a lot of local clubs don't even have email or a phone number.

I'll second that!! jw
