"Flat" is a misnomer in T language ! One needs to verify the "droop" in the manifold by holding a straight edge at the BOTTOM of #'s 1 & 4 to see just where #'s 2 & 3 are - most the time the center ports will be way off !

She doesn't appear to be a hefty gal - people were quite smaller statured back then.

Re: Wanted: Bennett Brake Support Bar
They attached around the h.b. cross shaft then over to a hogshead bolt - I have a photo somewhere around here showing them installed ! They were a "stiffener" to prevent the cross shaft from flexing.

Re: Rekey Culm Ignition Switch
Just a FYI - that Clum switch was for the earliest starter equipped cars - closed for sure - not sure about the open starter cars. It is the only year (1919) that utilized the cast light lever & fancy ammeter. I have that same Bosch panel (switched out the cast lever switch) in my Racer !

I was going to suggest that too BUT if the R.M.s are mounted, not much room to manipulate the emery cloth !

I have plenty - should be a 4-1 ratio unless you're running 21" tires - you pay the postage.

Anyone happen to have one or a pair of these ? They were supplied with the accessory Bennett Brake Kit.

I'll post a photo of the brake drum when the owner brings it back - pretty good "wear" pattern !

Re: WTB hole filler speedo and accessory dash light.
Stewart's had their own mounting bracket/plate held onto the dash with 3 ? small machine screws & nuts - you'd see the holes.

Re: Strange Brake band material
Yep - have an engine & trans. job in the shop now that had that type of brass impregnated hard lining on the brake only - too hard IMO - I recall back in the 60's - 70's where "brake & clutch" from fork lifts & Cats was being used.
