Cold weather storage tips please
IMG_4528.JPG Well, it's been a fun year for me and Woodrow (the name I gave my newly restored T). Three parades, 3 shows and one Best Classic award. There's another cruise-in late October (might be brrrrrr by then). My friend will be stored in an unheated building with OAT's in sub-freezing conditi...

Stopping Power
Just wondering. Is there any help for braking power for my '25? Linkage set, band adjusted but really have to apply a lot of force to slow to a stop. I anticipate a stop well in advance, use low speed compression before braking. What, if any other considerations are there? I've heard good and bad ab...

Re: planning to drive your T on July 4?
The second parade this year for my T roaster pickup is today, July 4. It's a blast seeing reactions from a crowd; old, young and in between.

Re: Heat insulation?
Good thoughts on the aluminum heat shield. Did you use screws to attach it to the plywood?

Heat insulation?
Is anyone using a heat insulation product such as Dynamat to insulate the underside of the floor boards? Does is make any sense to do so?

Am I ready for the Parade?
I've been driving my restored '25 T Roadster PU for 2 weeks now. My driving comfort level is getting better each day. Understand I never have driven A Model T before this. But I have driven on some of the higher traffic, 4 lane streets lately. There is an annual theme parade in town in one week that...

Re: Signal Lights???
I just completed a restoration on my '25 using front/rear sidelights from an '18 0r '19 T converted to signal.stop lights. There are numerous sellers for these sidelights on Ebay. I got mine from a local old time car restorer that has a graveyard of T, A and other cars. Assuming you have a 12v conve...

Re: High Gear Shift
Thanks for all the comments & suggestions. What I am finding out is the clutch pedal is not coming up fully to engage high gear, I can reach down and engage with my hand and it will. About 1 to 1/2" slop in the pedal to make the full travel.

Resto complete
IMG_4435.JPG IMG_4430.JPG It's been a year & a half in the making. It's a '25 Roadster PU. 12v conversion. Opted to go with the available oak bed kit. I res poked and used the same stain/sealer for the spokes and bed. Obviously I took liberties with some originality, the body color for one. It is m...

High Gear Shift
Need a little troubleshooting help please.
Accelerating in low and release of the clutch pedal: High gear shift is real sloppy now. Almost can't get into the gear.
What is the fix for this?
Thanks

Re: What have you done on/with/to your T in febuary?
Continuation of mechanical inspections and any necessary repair. Preparation of body for painting. These are all performed by a long standing antique car restoration shop in my close proximity. Very fortunate to have these guys near. After paint I will install an oak pickup bed and upholstery at my ...
