Dan, that switch reminds me of years ago, needed one for my Fordor, saw one on ebay, got in a bidding war, paid 110. dollars for it next day close friend was telling me of this asshole that bidded him up on a switch, but did we have a good laugh on that one!

I am with John on this one, have seen drums where people have tried to do this and the hardened shoes have came loose and going through the engine shorting field coil and breaking brass magnet clamp screws off.

Why not epoxy it back together give it some extra coats and use it for a pattern to machine some new ones? I have a local foundry that enjoys making things for me from all the old broken T iron I give them.

I have replaced many of these after market clutches, if you drive them right they will last but if you slip them then your asking for trouble, to me the big issue is if and when they fail they are deep in the engine and it has to come out to replace, I have never seen original ones fail!

I have seen all kinds out there, some cars that think they are a special one and the block is not correct for the year, Ford changed the blocks so many times through production and if you do not know the difference on the outside or inside most never know.

There is never any fun on stalling one in a busy intersection, almost every engine I rebuild gets a ring gear in it if not for now but future use! I try to tell people with early cars some day we are going to get older and the car with the starter on it will get used instead!

The Metz head is different on two bolt holes, the need sleeved and redrilled to make work, close friend has one on his car, he also counter sunk the plugs deeper so special plugs are no longer needed, it did up the compression a bunch, he said if he had to do it over again he would just run the Hi c...

As some one comment on I have had to shorten the bolts from block and heads being milled so bolt does not bottom out.

1912 will have the sheetmetal plate with 1/4 double stack, made for the 5/8 magnets unless it has been changed?

Lucius family rebuilds them every day, they are the supplier for all 419-595-2310. Hope this helps

That is a 26 body, so you need 26 hood and high radiator.

The dash is painted black also inside and out, I use to paint cars for a living so I know when one has been repainted or not, some of this car had some brush work on it but not the body.

I just bought a 12 touring today, and unrestored car, and all the brass is painted black, was told back in the day the Menonite community could not have brass showing so dealerships painted it black for the customer? Anyone ever heard of this? Thanks Joe.
