Re: Firewall drawings/ schematic 1915

Thanks for all the information.

It is indeed a privilege to belong to this Model T fraternity! The "forum" always works !!

It appears I'm now off to the races and am generally sure I won't be sacrificing a perfectly good piece of 3/4 inch birch plywood. Mac

Greetings from Canada. Wishing everyone good health and safety in these interesting times as our early "T's" are make their way through their second world-wide pandemic. I am working on my '15 runabout (COVID 19 project) and am looking for drawings or a schematic of the firewall to assist in general...

Looking for schematic

Greetings from Canada. Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during the "second" world wide pandemic in our Model T's lifetime. I'm in the process of restoring my '15 Runabout. The car needs a new firewall and I need a schematic or even a good description of where to drill the various holes as w...

Re: Livingood 4WD

Thanks for the inquiry Tom:

It takes some explaining. I have a fresh 1917 engine and a 1915 Roadster pickup body destined to be combined into one. If I sell the 4wd and chassis I'll put the engine in the Roadster. Failing that they'll all be married together to make one.

Livingood 4WD

I am considering the sale of my Livingood four wheel drive Model T rolling chassis. Mounted on a 1917 Model T platform [it] is ready for a body/engine transplant to convert your car to Four Wheel Drive. Reasonably priced at $7,500.00. Contact me with a phone number and I will call you. Pictures are ...

Re: Livingood conversion

The transfer case lets you choose between four wheel drive or two wheel drive.
An added benefit is four wheel brakes in 4WD. Ron MacDonald

Re: CANADIAN OR US BUILT 1913 TOURING?

Good Morning: As my Father was prone to say, "most things in life are not etched in stone". Then there's Ford engine blocks! Never wanting to spread misinformation I went to my library last night and took a look at Bruce McCalley's book. In the 1913 section of "the book" on page 163 Bruce shows seve...

Re: Livingood conversion

Greetings: Your message might indicate you are looking to buy a 4Wd Model T with the Livingood conversion. Do it !!!! Having driven one I can tell you there is no fear of sand driving. I don't think the car would be too happy in the dunes of south-eastern California but given the variety of gear rat...

Re: CANADIAN OR US BUILT 1913 TOURING?

Re: Your 1913 Canadian Touring car. I am unaware of a true Canadian Model T touring built with only three doors or for that matter built without Robertson screws. Be it known I am not an absolute encyclopedia of Canadian T's but our Ontario clubs have many of them. Canadian '13s are not too common b...

Re: CANADIAN OR US BUILT 1913 TOURING?

Congratulations: 1913 was a pivotal year for Model T production in Canada. 1913 was the year Ford built Model T's with parts made in Canada as opposed to parts imported from the USA which were then assembled in Canada. Your touring car should have four doors. A significant number of Canadian "'T's w...
