Thanks Craig, the lights I need are larger than usual 15 headlights. They were only used on Centerdoors and maybe coupes.

Finally getting around to getting my car In running condition. Dropped off my engine at Ron’s Machine shop in Ohio the week before last. Very exciting! The guy in the photo is B.J. the owner of the business. I’ll post other photos as I progress.

Dan, I use rubber contact cement that comes in a quart can (hardware store). I brush it on the back of the mat then apply the burlap. Trim it when dry. It’s the way the original mats were and keeps the rubber from tearing/cracking.

I always glue burlap to the back of my mats. It helps to keep it from tearing and believe the original mats were made that way.

Wayne, the original wiring is still there but I could not figure out how it got its power. It had a channel in the passenger side pillar where the wire ran half way up to the switch and then up across the top bow to the light. I believe it ran on a battery and not magneto.

My 15 Centerdoor sedan has the dome light. And my 22 has a dome light, but the wiring is external and runs to a pull switch on the dash.

Fascinating, the last photo is a early 15-16 Centerdoor sedan that has been modified with a later radiator. Notice the unique 3 piece windshield and forked electric headlights. The fenders are later as well Perhaps Canadian?

Daniel, the 1915 Centerdoor sedan headlamps did not use the forks, but it is possible that the Canada sedans used them. The first prototype sedan did have the gas headlamps.
