Re: Choke rod on Holly NH carburetor
Thanks to Norm & Dan for the very quick response. Would I be correct in thinking its the black "U" clamp that moves over the brass part of the jet. I'll try that tomorrow.
Happy Christmas, from Ireland, to you both & your families and best wishes for 2023.

Re: Model T Engine info
Hi Folks, Sorry for bothering you again, but I'm just getting back to my T engine. It looks like that I'll have to get a con rod. I measured the crankshaft & I'm getting 31.26mm or 1240th. How would I know what size to get, standard or 10 or 20 oversize. Has anybody an easy way of splitting the shim...

Stripped threads in block
Hi
I have a problem with stripped threads in one of the bolt holes in the block & I was reading in older threads on repairing the problem.
Some mentioned Heli coils & in another discussion the was talk about a "Stevens" tool/kits.
Any advice on whats best to do
Many thanks

Re: Oil in plug hole
Thanks for replies,
Are you saying that I should put thread tape on the plugs when I'm putting them in?
I must do a few jobs to the car in the next week or 2 as I have stripped threads in one bolt in the block also.
