I was lucky enough to get an Optima 6V battery from O'Reilly at 20% off. My last one lasted 11 years and I never charged it thru the winter. They send me sales notices all the time. Shipping from England has gone up Blockley tubes
I thought I would get a quote from Blockley for a couple of inner tubes.
2 tubes are 70 Pounds
Shipping is 56 Pounds.
Total cost for 2 tubes is 126 Pounds or $159
I wonder what it costs to buy them over there with the VAT added?
Royal Mail use to be relatively cheap.

If you do not have a speedster and want to join the tour.
I believe traditionally 90% of the cars are speedsters.

Re: Building a magnet charger, looking for information
I will drive anywhere except the freeway, with or without children. Life is too short not to enjoy it. I live in a suburb of 39000K people. They get rides on the Speedster, too.

Steve Jelf is doing well 1/19/24
I just had a nice long conversation with Steve. He states he is doing well and is ready to head home. (I still think he will need assistance) I told him he is better off staying in CA for at least another month. It is mighty cold in Kansas right now. It sounds like he and his brother are getting alo...

Vintage Ford and Model T Times came this week
The Jan/Feb Vintage Ford arrived Tuesday, and the Jan/Feb Model T Times arrived today. This is too much for me to handle in one week. I am going to get (MTOS) Model T Override Disease and end up out in the garage. It is only 10 degrees out there. Help.

Gene If you pick him up and bring him home, I am sure he would come. He is in Lomita and that looks like a hike from Huntington Beach. His brothers house is not large and I understand there are 2 Saint Bernards living there, so a break would be nice. At least Kim and Larry are not much more than a m...

Maybe a used car location. I do not think Ford would be happy with that type of advertisement.

I thought you and Kim were going to contact Steve. Or drive over to his location and surprise him with a ride.
I do not think Steve has any way to call you guys.

Re: A shed for my T
YOu do not have to drain a radiator up here in the north. Fill it with Prestone in the right ratio and it is good to -40 degrees. Helps to prevent rust as well. It only works well if you heat in the winter and cool in the summer. Does nothing for humidity. If your county allows it, a portable shed i...

Larry Smith and Kim Dobbins will be next in line to take Steve for a T ride. They have his phone #. Too bad we cannot get Shorty out there. He will be living with his little brother, Mike. Steve told me that his 23 just needs some tranny work and it should be good to go.

Steve Jelf is heading to California
I just had a long 43 minute talk with Steve on the phone. It sounds like he is heading to LA tomorrow. Hard to believe. He is planning on hitting Derrick Pang for a Model T ride once he gets there. He informed me that he is walking with a cane, no walker, and he does not think he really needs the ca...

Best photo of the month!!!!
Too bad you could not go for a little ride, even if just around the block.
Next spring, maybe a chance to even drive it a bit.
Thank you so much.

If you mean the clinic at McPherson, it was posted once on FB. I believe Jan 19-20 or so.
I know Rob was going to present his race car, but I forget the rest. Maybe google McPherson or keep an eye on FB.
Someone hopefully will repost it.

Thank you for taking over Joe. As Steve improves you get to aid in that improvement. I know it is probably too cold and too far away for you, but if there is anyone that could bring a T to Weiser, that would be a for sure boost. Maybe take him a carburetor to play with.
