WTB - “Right Side”-mount Rube Horn

-
I am looking for a “right side” mount Rube horn that is the mirror image of this one. Hopefully, in good shape. Would anyone have one for sale?
If needed, I have a good left side one to trade.

It has been my experience, now with two, with these “reproductions” that they break after a few hundred miles of touring there a...

- I went to look at this “closed car” on behalf of my always cold 93-year-old father. It’s a solid and respectable Model T build by a solid and respectable Model T-er. The interior is excellent and any blemishes on the exterior are so minor that they wouldn’t be worth fixing. It also has those mecha...

Angle Brass Molding for Framing Early Floorboards. Where can I buy it?

- Hello fellow Model T-ers. My 1912 Warren Speedster lost one of its fancy brass framed floorboards on Interstate 5 somewhere between Los Angeles and San Francisco. So, unless I see it laying on the highway tomorrow when I drive back south, I will need to fabricate a new one. Would any of you know w...

Re: Stripping lacquer from brass lamps

I had this same challenge about a year ago. Mr. Tom Zimmer of the Horseless Carriage Club instructed me to go to Costco, buy vinegar in bulk, pour it in a lobster pot, put it on the stove, and bring it to almost a boil. I soaked my clear-coated brass in there and the coating came off almost immediat...

Inner tubes Made in Denmark

-
Hello Fellow Model T-ers,

Larry Smith suggested that I post this “abnormality” for your interest. My guess is that these inter tubes are from the mid-1990s. Because, I am restoring at 1911 Touring that has been relatively untouched since then.
