I bought it without a distro cap and rotor. Bought those off the forum, installed and it started right up. But now is backfiring and rough, it ran fine for a couple weeks then started acting up. I put the advance to the mid point on the column, rotate to the high point, then set gap to .20, still ra...

Thanks all, here is what I found when looking.. There is no outer seal in the drum area, and the inner seal seems ok. I will dig in and see what is happening, looks like a rebuild of the axel is in store for me,

Point gap on 19 T
I have a 19 T with the distributor mod. Is there a procedure for setting the points on this and what should the gap be? It is running real rough and advancing or retarding the spark does nothing. It has new points, condenser and rotor on it. Any advice would be appreciated. R/Jim

Brake shoes on a 19 T-Cruiser
My T is having problems stopping and staying stopped when starting it with the brake on. I pulled the drums off, and the pads are soaked with grease, and there is grease everywhere. Is this normal? On modern cars there is an oil seal, but I don't see anything. Please let me know if I am missing some...

okay, I got a front plate rotor, and the hole is too small for mine. Attached is more pictures. I am almost ready to just order a new distributor assy from MACS. any advice? idenentification of distributor/rotor type help
I am new to Model T's. Had a 30 A, and now have a 1919 T. Trying to get it running and cannot find the correct rotor for the distributor. Attached is a top down piture of the distributor, any assistance would be appreciated. R/jim
