This is perhaps a little off topic, but…given
the current state of affairs the question was
raised recently whether or not a Model
T would survive an EMP blast. This a technical
question / subject that is beyond my
knowledge base. Would be interested in
responses from the forum. Thanks.

Engine noise from freshly rebuilt engine.
I recently had my motor rebuilt and, after driving the car several times have noticed a troubling 'noise' that occurs when 'revving' the motor. I have run the motor at full and partial advance (and everything in between.) I had installed a Prus high compression head and a cam from Stipe. The Youtube...

Re: Warford transmission installation
I too am currently wanting to install a KC Warford. There has been a lot of useful information posted by folks much more knowledgeable than myself on the subject. Thank you. Question: Does anyone know of a source for a (Warford) support brace which I am told I will need. Thanking all of you in advan...

How many hours should it take...
This question is asked of those who have a lot of experience under their belt. How many hours should it take to re-assemble a T short block AFTER all machining has been completed. I ask this question so as to get a better idea of the cost involved. I have taken the engine completely apart and will p...

Porcelain Engine
I'm putting this out to the membership as I have no idea why this was done: The engine that I am having rebuilt was 'porcelained" by the previous owner (many, many years ago). That is, the engine is 'coated' (if that is the right word) in porcelain. Looks a little bit like powder coating. I would ap...
