Re: 1924 roadster
That would make someone a nice car. The bed I think is for a later improved model T and it sure looks to be an excellent one. Jim

Re: Fuel cap for a 1925 Tudor
Jeffery, If you look close at the first picture or expand it out then you can see a couple of pins or possibly screws that have been filed off on the ramp part of the adapter, they are more than likely a locking feature. You might want to feel the underside to see it they protrude through to the ins...

Re: WTB Front hub
Jerry, I made one out of a junk front wheel drive hub from what I believe a GM product. Just went to a independent shop and asked to look at at their scrap hopper, GM 5 bolt has the same bolt pattern if I recall correctly. Then I just bolted it to a cheap engine stand head. Works good for truing and...

Sad to hear of Bonnie passing it was always good to see her at Hershey or Charlotte along with Larry. We still have two of Larry's spots at Charlotte and its hard to go past a BBQ place without thinking of them, They loved a good barbeque. Is there a way to tell which ones are the bad ones? Maybe a Rockwell hardness test. I recently got some from a major vendor and would not want to install if they are the bad ones. Jim

Re: Bead Buddy on Wire Wheel Tire/Tube Change?
Get yourself some Ru-Glyde tire mounting and rubber lubricant. Good stuff for mounting any tires I get mine at NAPA, last I got it was less than 20.00 bucks for a gallon. Worked great when I mounted my new tires on my wires. Jim

Re: HUBCAP FIT on WIRE WHEELS
I did a kinda period correct fix on mine. I had some mason jar rubbers that I cut the tabs off of and glued to the inside of the hub opening then installed the caps bending four or six of the tabs over into the rubber, been a year now and so far no rattles. Jim

Arnie, As far as I know they all had the long bumpers but different rear brackets, short ones for sedans and tourings and longer for the coupes and roadsters not sure about the pickups. I have the short ones on my roadster and before I switched to wire wheels I would have to take the bumper loose to...

I also sold some T things, some hub pullers, a battery box for the running board also a couple of air pumps. The weather didn't cooperate though we w...

Jim, Before you reassemble your switch you might want to anneal those tabs that hold it together, if you don't they tend to crack and/or break off. Jim
