Darren, I suspect this may be related to the thread below regarding the forum being slow for all. Piquette’s first floor open this weekend as part of…

… a special event called “EVs Then and Now”. This is a rare opportunity to see a gathering of early electric vehicles and the first floor where the business offices of Ford Motor once were. It would be great to see you there.

You may want to look at the offerings of this eBay seller. https://www.ebay.com/str/themaytagshed

I have no affiliation, but purchased one of their valves two years ago and am pleased. It rotates easily and doesn’t leak.

Re: Modern tank for acetylene lights

I made a bracket similar to Keith’s in the thread linked below. Mine is attached to the frame and one of the running board cross braces. The regulator sits just below the gas tank. I have to crawl under the cad to turn the bottle on but I usually only light them once a year at Old Car Festival so it...

A slightly clearer version is on a past discussion when Stan Howe (RIP) posted it. http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/822076/921991.html?1544817337 It’s such a cool truck and great to see it again. I love September with a Model T. It begins with Old Car Festival where this year I “renewed my vows” … 3F4F37A1-84A5-497E-9075-47F5D4B8496B.jpeg …and ends with the Model T Birthday Party at the Piquette Plant. Borrowed from OCF. The shoe race. A passenger takes off one shoe and leaves it at the start. Halfway down a straight course the passenger hops out, runs back to the start and puts on the shoe and then runs back to and hops into the car. You then race to the finish line. The fire drill. Similar to ab...
