Re: Best Turn Signal available

Hand signals are useless - drivers today don't know what they mean. They think you are waving at them or someone else!! See page 22 of the 2022 Arizona Drivers manual. They are certainly not "useless". Ask most any motorcycle rider. https://apps.azdot.gov/files/mvd/mvd-forms-lib/99-0117.pdf I...

Re: Best Turn Signal available

Hand signals still in the Arizona Drivers License manual and can be on the test. I quizzed a 19 year old about them and he knew what they meant. Bikers use them as well. Not as obsolete as some seem to think.

Was cancelled in 2020. 2021 was a go. I was there and did quite well selling most of my excess T parts. Attendance was down some from previous years. Still enjoyed it and had a great time. Even got to ride in Eric Barrett's 1914 Overland. :)

Purchased a set of Goodyear 4.50 X 21 tires from Snyder's 3 years ago. Says "MADE IN USA" . Nothing to indicate they were made by another manufacturer.

Re: Anyone heard of an "Allen"?

Never heard of an Allen before. Nice looking well equipped car for the day. 3.625" bore X 5" long stroke engine. If I did the math right, that works out to 206.4 cubic inches. "Standard Catalog of American Cars 1805-1942" is one I don't have. Just ordered one in excellent condition for $22.00 from A...

As for looks, I think the basic form followed function. Beyond that, the cabin portion looked a lot like many high end pre-1910 cars. People really didn't quite know what a motor car ought to look like. X2. The Detroit Electric "look" was present in early gasoline cars as well. Below is Henry Lelan...

I typically pay with cash when shopping at the local stores. In early 2020, the local AM PM had a sign out "DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS ONLY". That sign has since been removed.

Guess cash is not "King" anymore. :(

Rich, no help in identifying the car. However, as far as I know, that bank building is still standing. It once served as a beer bar for a few years back in the ’70’s. :)
